They are exactly same Laptop. Now for $50 more, you're getting 4 times the storage and extra 1 year warranty. So, if you can grab one from Costco, I would say, get one. In this thread, the $699 deal is actually the better deal.

Excellent price for a nice laptop. This has 2.8K display, Thunderbold 4, Aluminum built, 400 nits brightness and 100% sRGB. Ram is soldered but plenty.

Does anyone know a work around to buying gift cards to Walmart with some prepaid visa debits that I got from Xfinity deals, since you can't do multiple cards in a transaction? I tried converting them to regular gift cards with them on walmarts site and paypal only to get the transactions denied.

Did you do whatever activation steps for the cards (if needed)? Did you verify the balance? For prepaid/refund/promo cards like this, I've always converted them to the vendor gift cards such as Amazon. Are you saying this isn't working (after performing the first steps of verifying activation and balance)?

Yes i activated them and made sure my address and any other info was correct. Added the card to my account. Made sure the gift card amount was equal to the balance on the card. Walmart.com and paypal egift card store both came back denied.

I got the Costco one but its now out of stock and as noted the 1TB SSD and Warranty are worth it if you local store still has this in stock:https://www.costco.com/lenovo-ide...94401.html
If not you are getting the lesser spec on on this deal with is still a good deal for the price, esp the $699 i5.
Great machine for a great price.. I have the Costco version being the only diffferences are i7 + 1tb ssd.. I'd probably rather save $200 and get this version since SSDs are cheap and the i5 vs i7 are literally within 5% performance.

If you go to a Walmart store and buy a Walmart Gift card with it, you can use multiple cards. Just know the balance of each card when you get to the register and tell the cashier you're paying with multiple cards.

Thanks, i was trying to avoid going to the store, but this sounds like my only option. Ill try and stop by after work and see if it works, if not looks like i can use paypal to split my payment between one of the cards and my personal.
