Wow, after a lot of people just a couple of days ago bought their deal, they now throw in a free case? I guess they like people making returns. I'll do that if GameStop matches the deal.
It appears the the credit works on anything sold by Amazon, and digital only refers to the fact that you won't have a physical gift card/code in your hands.
Just tried to add to cart and I don't see the additional $50 off coupon, but do see the $50 digital credit.
Don't know. I don't see it anymore either (obviously, since I already used it), but here was my total:
Item(s) Subtotal: $299.00
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Your Coupon Savings: -$50.00
-----
Total before tax: $249.00
Estimated tax to be collected: $22.43
-----
Grand Total: $271.43

Random question - was your sales tax calculated on the $299 or the $249? For my order, Amazon is charging sales tax based on the pre-discounted price of $299.
I played around and tried to check out with other items with coupons, and it looks like Amazon is now calculating the sales tax based on pre-discounted prices now... at least for me. Anyone else notice this and know if this is supposed to be happening?

Are you in California like me? Someone else from Texas replied in another thread and said they were charged tax on the $249 discounted subtotal.
As a test, I tried changing the shipping address to Washington state and the sales tax calculation reverted back to standard, after-discount subtotal calculation. When I changed it back to California, it went back to calculating based on pre-discount subtotal.
Curious to see some other data points, for both California and non-California zip codes.

I don't remember the exact wording, but it did say we would get it in an e-mail 24 hours later?
I spoke to someone over the phone, took like 30 mins, but they manually added the promo credit to my account.
Wonder if I will still get some sort of e-mail with another code lol.
**edit** Yup, they gave me a manual credit and just got the email with the credit from the promo 2 mins ago.
