If you have gmail and your account hasn't been inactive for 30 days, use the +1 trick. So if your account is [email protected], create a new Hulu account at [email protected]. It's the same account on your end but Hulu will see it as a different email address.

Good deal. Just want to take the time to say that the number of commercials that you have to sit through on their regularly priced ad supported plan os nuts. I could see 1 1:30 minute break during an episode, but there are like 4 during a 40 minute episode.

I am trying to use the offer with my old account that has not been active for a year but when I click the "Get this Deal" button, it takes me to the billing page and it shows as $6.99/mo. Anyone else seeing this issue?

The promo appears to be tied to your credit card you've previously used. So even if you create a new account you have to also use a different form of payment. I couldn't get it to work on an old account with my current card, tried creating a new account and was still denied, used new form of payment on old account and it worked.

See my post below, it's most likely tied to your credit card on file, try using a different card or PayPal.

If you have a discover card that isn't used, they waive your statement if it's under $2.
I've been getting Hulu for $2 and discover waived it every month.
