bought a 50" element a few years ago.... died 6 month later.. warranty was a nightmare ... countless emails and calls they finally send me a return authorization.... which i had to pay to send back (warranty doesn't cover shipping)....

so after spending ~$100 sending it back, they never send the TV back and they no longer take my calls or stating they didn't receive it or it was not covered whatever... since it was over 3 month, i couldn't get it back from credit card...

i'd recommand against buying it

Lies. No one recommends IPS televisions over VA.

Look at every high end LED TV and see what kind of panel it has.

Dude... really !!
You should inform yourself before you post useless comments.....
IPS ("In-Plane Switching") are best for gaming and have better viewing angles.

VA (Vertical Alignment) have better color accuracy and contrast ratio but narrow viewing angles.

Those 65"s at $300 with the target 5% off were tough to beat. Get two of them and sync. Frameless. I know it will be weird but a girl can dream....

Now it's making me think twice about the 70 inch Vizio I got yesterday. Any comments on the two?

Well, I bought this and cancelled the Vizio because for $50 more I get a 75 inch tv. The reviews are good and I could just return if I don't like it.

The 65" ones have had such bad reviews already (as well as last year's BF model) that I gave the deal a pass.

Are you saying you can make the two 65" tv's into basically one screen with the tv's side by side or just having both screens play the same image?

Have a question, I can't find it on the target site, what are the inputs? I'm looking for a tv that has all the new inputs like hdmi arc but still have a composite input (for my ps2). It's getting harder to find a good deal for a bigger tv that has both

It has HDMI ARC but not the composite HD inputs. The built in ROKU works great with my sound system utilizing the HDMI ARC

How big is the box? Would it fit into a Honda Odyssey?

I wish this wasn't a Element. All of them I have seen in person are incredibly underwealming.

IPS > VA.
IPS are far superior screen color quality. The viewing angle from are good from any angel.
VA only look good if you're viewing from straight ahead, colors could be more muddy.
