For people coming to this deal to say that the Washington Post is biased, do you think that because you only read newspapers for their opinion pages? I don't see how you can say the news reporting is biased--facts are neutral. Perhaps you don't like the topics that get reported on, but they are still facts (as in, they actually happen in reality) and not biased.

I have subscriptions to the Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times and I think the reporting by all three are excellent and some of the best in the country. I don't read their opinion pages. I encourage you to give their reporting a read, and perhaps you'll find something interesting. It's best to learn more about the facts, then form your own opinions rather than regurgitating someone else's opinions.

And by the way, this is the best deal I've seen for an annual subscription to a major newspaper. Definitely worth it to see if you find the reporting interesting.
You can get the $9.99 rate for a second year if you cancel today and put the reason "promotion ended"
I just tried and I think this worked. I got two years of a premium subscription at the $9.99 rate. Am I reading this wrong?

Due on November 23, 2022
Rate - $9.99 (plus applicable sales tax)

I NEVER read the Washington Post Opinion pieces, but their Fact-based journalism is still top-notch IMO.
I'm really glad they make the distinction and am happy to provide at least a little support to one of the few remaining institutions that at least attempt to make a distinction between fact-based reporting and opinion pieces.

Can always cancel after the renewal and see if they offer another deal. That's how we got it last year.
Oh yeah, we'll renew after we cancel. We had wapo before this offer and will have it after. Even if no other deal is available for everyone at the time I need to renew, we can get the teacher discount.

I just cancelled a couple weeks ago when it said $170. My subscription ends Dec 21, 2022 so hopefully black friday will have another $10 deal.

If I try to "reactivate" my cancelled subscription now, the deal is $60.

I just got a new Amex Offer for 50% back on a Washington Post digital subscription, up to $20. So that means that my $9.99 renewal will only cost $5.

Spend $4 or more, get 50% back, up to a total of $20

Just saw this is ending after 2 years at $10/year and now its $170/year. When i canceled the Post offered $39/year. Not worth it for me, hoping for a BF deal again.

Thanks for the reminder. I think they're a great paper, but not for $170. They didn't offer me a reduced option.

Just got a notice mine would be renewing at $170 in November. I canceled, was offered a $39/year deal. Original was $10/year for two years.I'd do $20, maybe $25. Seems fair for the amount I use it. If I had an Amex offer I'd grab it.
