That is beyond Insane.
You can by 32GB for $115 to $145 depending on modules from Amazon.
You could by a matching 8gb module to upgrade the single stick to 2 sticks for under $30.
Adding the memory yourself is easy and will increase performance since both the 8gb and 16gb config are single channel hurts system performance.
Shocked there was not a 2x8 option on the Dell site for a REASONABLE cost upgrade.

Vostro has an i7 vs an i5...but the Swift has a better Screen by far.
i5 is likely enough for most unless you have special needs.
Everyone likes a brighter screen with more colors.
Even at the same price...I might consider the swift...

With the Vostro 5510 i5-11320 (95EU Xe graphics) and 8GB RAM you are at $699 also. I guess it depends how much you want burst turbo frequency vs what you think is possible for sustained.
