I have the 2.0 version... For those who question if its worth it. Imagin a Man and a kid going insane with happiness by hunting flys around the house. Yep. Got flys or bugs in your house, you will fall in LOVE. Some of you might actually enhance your bugasalt by adding lasers and other accessories to it. YES, they make laser sights and stuff for it. lol..

Anyway, It is worth every penny. Thats why I just snagged this one at only 35 bucks. One for my house, and the other for my gf's house!

I also agree. It reminds me of people finding joy and pride in things like hunting.

It isn't glorious to kill a defenseless animal at 300 yards with a high powered rifle whilst draped in $2k worth of military grade camo. Then they take pictures and souvenirs to reminisce on the experience. It isn't heroic, it's disturbing...finding joy in unnecessarily killing animals and wanting to remember it makes them look like serial killers.

The 1.0 a friend is surprisingly effective; I've wanted to get one for myself.
I just ordered from bugasalt site itself; notes on ordering from them:
  • The laser is $5 cheaper when added as a separate item vs the combo (eg, $35+$15=$50 as two separate items, vs $55 for the bugbeam combo)
  • Free shipping for $50+, but the %off coupon applies BEFORE shipping and tax, so you can end up with eg $50 minus coupon plus shipping and tax = $60 thus paying $5 more by using the coupon. I ended up adding something else to be $50+ *after* coupon, in order to make it worth it.
