I'm sure there's better. Maybe you could call sporting goods shops in Anchorage and tell them about the different kinds of activities you plan on doing while you wear it. Probably a big difference between what you need if you're just going grocery shopping and need to run out to your car once in awhile versus being expose the weather for longer periods of time. Probably videos on YouTube that will help you decide as well.

Same here. I ordered two weeks ago on 11/25 (Thanksgiving Day). On website it states " Status: In process
Pre-order item expected to ship on or before 12/04/2021".

(Note that 12/4 has passed)

I find it amazing they want our business, but obviously don't have enough stock and / or manpower to handle these orders (or shall I say PRE ORDERS). At least they didn't charge my credit card (they only did a preauthorization for the total amount then released it).

Hopefully I'll get this Parka before summer time! Eddie Bauer really rocks! LMAO

Same here! I purchased the evening of 11/24. It didn't state pre-order at the time. Since then the site tracking now includes a pre-order processing date which has gone from 12/4 to 02/20! It might be spring before it arrives.

Now when I log into my Eddie Bauer account it says BACKORDERED. They emailed me with an update claiming that the "due to supply chain issues etc … item will likely not arrive in time for the holidays". And for that they threw in a $10 gift certificate that expires end of January - ? Consolation prize? Honestly why would I buy more from Eddie Bauer if they can't even fulfill an order they claimed was in stock (if item is out of stock or backordered, the website should NOT allow orders to be placed). The $10 certificates are worthless to them (like printing Monopoly money). From my end, it's akin to tossing an extra bone for a dog to eat!
