Make sure to keep two consecutive save files, the collections have a bug where it has the potential to crash your game while saving and corrupt your save file.

I lost about 5 hours of gameplay to this bug on Switch, which was particularly frustrating as I was playing it on the highest difficulty.

Admittedly the bug seems to be somewhat rare, as apparently it also exists on the ps4 version, which I platinumd without encountering it, but man was I angry when it happened on Switch, going from completely having researched the little sisters/rosies/leadheads/nitros/spiders (on survival difficulty, which eats through resources and requires tons of saving/reloading/scroungingnhitandruntactics, to being forced back to the auto save where I didn't even have the camera and had just entered the level was infuriating, to the point I wished I hadn't even bought it for the 10 bucks I paid for it.

This bug apparently existed on the original pc version which the collection was ported from, and was never fixed in the collection. Imo, unacceptable and inexcusable from 2k, among other things.

I wanted to buy some children some games and they play digital only games. If I don't know what game they like, can I give them an Amazon gift card to use to purchase digital code from Amazon or does Amazon not allow GCs for digital media?

Oh wow, there is isn't even a cart with this anymore? Glad I picked it up when it still had one. So sad seeing this sort of thing becoming more and more common. Every time I see it it's like why the hell would I want a digital code in an empty box? If I want a digital game I would just buy it that way and not waste any effort on a pointless rigmarole.

People saying to buy the cartridge edition…. That version is still a huge download. The cartridge only had the opening act for each game on it and required over 30 gb of data to be downloaded to play the games. So either way you're downloading huge files to play the switch editions.
