I picked this up on clearance a few weeks ago based on another post here. This stuff is extremely solid. I used on a vehicle about 3 weeks ago and honestly didn't follow the direction's that close as I would have been out working on the vehicle for a very long time, but it still came out great. Makes the paint extremely slick (I literally almost slid off the roof of the truck when laying on it trying to get a certain spot) and beads water tremendously. There are multiple reviews and real world test that show this stuff is good and lasts a long time as well. Would recommend.

Same! I almost fell off the step stool when I was applying to the wife's SUV. It has been on for about 4 months and still looks great
Good stuff. I did this like 3 months ago and it still looks nice. Bugs on the bumper sprays off easily. I bought this for double the cost when I did my car

It's a pretty good deal, but if you want to put together a better kit I recommend this:
Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray from eBay = $13.00
Isopropyl Alcohol from Walmart for prep spray = $2
Spray bottle from Walmart = $1
Rag Company Eagle 500 Microfiber 4-pack from Amazon = $20 (pricey but will make every microfiber you have ever used look like garbage)
Total is $36, but you are left with a bigger bottle of ceramic spray, and instead of throwaway rags and pad you have world clas microfiber towels for the future.
This is $57 on Amazon, I already have some kind of ceramic sealant but I might pick this up. I wish I could find some data on how much si02 is in here. Gotta keep hybrid in mind though.

Turtle wax ceramic doesn't sound like a hybrid, $13 on eBay I'm in on that one thanks
The biggest advantage to a DIY kit is you get amazing microfibers. You could also buy the Meguiar's kit and then buy the separate components as you please.

Do you have a link to the evidence of that?
If it's better, so be it, but I've seen absolute evidence that the Turtle Wax performs well and has good substantivity.
