I bought this laptop from Newegg earlier this week. Same price, but the sale started earlier. When I registered the serial number with MSI It showed a 15 month warranty (1 year + 3 bonus months due to a special they're running). Not sure if the Amazon deal is different. The laptop itself is great. Only thing I wish it had is a keyboard with a number pad, but it's not a deal breaker.
