$249 right now from Walmart with straight talk no plan required.
Do you mean you can get an unlocked iphone XR from straight talk?

No, sorry but it works with all Tracfone subsidiaries. So for us, the free SafeLink service. Does cricket give an unlocked XR?

Gaaaahhh, my two most hated merchants.

I tried ordering iPhone 11 on promotion from Cricket 3 times a few months ago. Was loyal Cricket user for years. All my iPhone 11 Cricket orders were canceled, my ports were canceled. I HATE Cricket's ecommerce site now...just the worst.

Same with Kroger. Tried to buy Cricket / ATT cards on Kroger, multiple orders got canceled, despite different credit cards.

I will NEVER waste time with Kroger or Cricket again. The worst businesses. I have zero issues buying from any other e-commerce site.
That's too bad. I had the total opposite experience which is why I will recommend my friend do the same. I bought 2 128gb iphones, and 2 64gb iphones last year during a similar deal on the new SE2020 iphones. Got all 4 for $300, sold 2 to Amazon for $412...used a Credit card offer for $25 cash back, + __% back from cashback website, then had someone refer me to get $25 credit, then referred myself for the 2nd line I kept and banked another $25 credit. Then loaded up on 15% off gift cards from Kroger earning points on my credit card. All this with 4 separate accounts of 1 year free apple tv and a few months of HBOMax I was able to both use and give away.

So yeah, two phones and a year of 2 lines that cost me very little compared to other monthly unlimited offers (not to mention a super excited teenager). I'm sold and will recommend...IF you know how to slick deal.

Great to hear, enjoy it.

I had zero problems buying 5 phones with Cricket back in 2015, had it delivered to my home just fine. Used Cricket for years. Now 6 years later can't buy a single phone from Cricket without it canceling.

Cricket's e-commerce system is really horrid. In the future you may find issues buying phones from Cricket, because their system is so chaotic.

Apparently we need to stay on the 60$ plan for 3 months and then can move to a lower cost plan. Talked to cricket cs.

Are you trying to get their sympathy or threaten Cricket? I don't think they give $..t either way TBH. Instead you could have done it already and saves some $. By now it should be easy to see that staying "loyal customer" is more of a punishment than privilege to customer in many if not most companies that sell services.

Wow this has become Apples business model huh! Constantly slow down the phones artificially and block them for downloading most apps. So frustrating. I can't believe people put up with that. Beautiful hardware with reasonably fast CPU is paperweight because of artificial software slowdown code inserted in updates (or artificial battery drain software code).
This is Slickdeals, not a 4chan for conspiracy theories.
BTW CPU performance can be easily benchmarked and what you have said hold nothing.

Cricket is not a Verizon sub...get your facts straight if you're going to try to promote Cricket (their e-commerce site blows).

I'd much rather pay Total Wireless for 1 year of reliable service than have no orders completed with Cricket. So glad I ditched Cricket and switched to AT&T (and Total Wireless as backup).
You went from a at&t subside to at&t themselves. I rather have a unlock phone sooner. Good luck.

And please, read I already corrected myself vs you trying to correct me again.

Yes, AT&T is far better than Cricket now... Cricket has degraded to a lesser service than when I used it.

My point is if you are going to accuse someone of making an inferior choice, make sure your own facts are straight LOL. You severely damage your credibility with incorrect basic information like saying Cricket is a subsidiary of Verizon, smh. It conveys that you really don't know what you're talking about (which imho is true based on your posts thus far).

I'm not sure about either of those, I'd have to do some research. I typically upgrade a couple gens behind. Older Apple devices remain relevant for a long time due to it being so competent when new, combined with iOS being well optimized for the hardware, and Apple including older hardware in iOS updates for MUCH longer than anyone else. I still have that iPhone 7 and it works perfectly. It even got iOS updates not too long ago LMAO
Alrighty then, was totally waiting on you chiming in with your thoughts. I should be able to carry on with the rest of my day now, now that you've shared those wise thoughts and knee slapping sense of humor there at the end, made me almost pee my pants, you're so funny, haha

I had a 256gb iPhone SE 2...tiny battery in phone was a major deal breaker. It would lose 20-30% battery over night, doing nothing...brand new iPhone SE 2.

The tiny battery just can't support the powerful CPU. I sold it and got the iPhone XR which is far better on battery life and just as fast.

You have it totally backwards.
The apple brand battery case is awesome with se2. I am a pretty heavy user and it nearly lasts an entire day like 7am to 11pm

How ironic…your comment about my comment was less useful and less funny.

Any comments?
