Spoiler they hated the Ready Wise meals.
Or the end of the world, whichever comes first.
Serving sizes are typically a couple hundred calories, not nearly enough for an active adult. You'll consume the entire pouch in one sitting.

Here is another one for $20, probably better brand. Also about 25% heavier, at least according to wally world. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Augaso.../278898291

I see $36

Bundle this with a fresh air breathing device toilet tube (https://patents.google.com/patent/US4320756A/en) and you should be set for your next date night.

Thanks for posting. I'm a big fan of mountain house. I would like to point out that this deal is a different product than the readywise emergency bucket in the video. It's possible that these readywise pouches marketed to hikers/hunters is a bit higher quality than the "emergency bucket". Reason being they probably don't expect customers to actually eat the emergency bucket unless it's life or death ๐Ÿ˜‚
I'm in for 1 to give it a try. If it's gross then it becomes emergency only food

I got this and it came quick, today on BF. Eating the spicy asian noodles to avoid the leftovers for a minute. I can say that if you use less water (see reviews etc) i.e. to your liking, you'll enjoy them. There are better options but these are fine just fine, with less water i.e. more flavor.

Tried these the last time they were on slickdeals. They all tasted terrible even at $29.99, except for the dried strawberries and dried applies. They were either too bland, watered down, or taste nothing like what they were labeled. I don't know how is possible for ReadyWise to fail to replicate every single recipe so badly even something as simple as Mac and Cheese. I'm not kidding, their Mac and cheese did not taste creamy, cheesy, or like macaroni. I swear, even plain boil macaroni would beat their Mac and cheese hands down. I won't no even eat this again on a paid dare. Between starvation or eating this product. I would heavily lean towards starvation. I've tried MRE's, whole chicken in a can, and Mountainhouse products. l would recommend anything else rather than ReadyWise. Stay away unless you don't have taste buds or someone that you really don't want to to come over an ever eat with you again.

My wife and I went on a taste test spree a while back. We tried 6 versions of their food, and each was more horrible than the last. Worst part was the thick chemical tasting slime that coated our mouths when we took a bite.

We literally ate 3-4 bites of each flavor, and then threw the rest in the garbage.

Made some Mountain House afterwards to make sure we remembered what "good" taste like haha

You do realize this is for emergencies and not for leisure recreational eating. Who knows what situations people might be eating this in.. Flood, storms, war zone, etc where they have a short period of time to eat before having to move locations to eat further.

Lmao you bought this to eat for entertainment purposes while it's meant as and emergency last resort. This is like having to eat bugs to survive and complain... Ya no shit

Canned or ready to eat foods are better. Protein bars, canned chili, beefaroni, spam. As long as you have a can opener. In a survival situation, you have problems starting a fire or finding water. More protein and fat, less starch.

Got it 2 days ago. Tried 2 meals,
they where good.

The hamburger mushroom and the asian sweet and spicy.
Flavor is ok i added pepper and salt to my liking. Just a safe meal that wont mess up your stomach.

I bought a second bucket.

The package is usaully 2-3 servings but they count each pouch as a meal. So its a true 3 day kit for a full grown man. There would be leftovers for me (200lb guy)

the dried fuit snacks are the ones with 7year shelf life think the meals where up to 2031

Will use these for camping or emergencies.

Spoiler they hated the Ready Wise meals.

For emergencies and at the brink of starvation, I really don't think I'd care what it tastes like.

If someone's buying this for a hiking/hunting/camping trip, I'd suggest something else that isn't dried up or can be stored for 7 years.

Grab a bunch of Snickers and/or tuna packs ๐Ÿ˜‚
