The deal is $39.xx here. I saw they are still being sold for $74.99 on some web sites. That doesn't really help though. They look like trash, PITA, and wasted money. I'm skipping this one. Thanks anyway OP.
The sound quality is really good, but they're a little bulky in ear and prone to fall out. They make my ear canals itch, too, for some reason. The battery case is huge, so you can't comfortably keep them in your pocket. I will say, $40 is a good price. They used to retail for more than $100.

The audio pass through works well to talk to people without taking them out by just clicking the left one, but at work I usually just keep one in to hear other people.
The case is kind of big so you aren't slipping them I to skinny jeans, but that isn't much of an issue for me.

The charging contacts are very prone to failure. Swapping cases doesn't matter it's the contacts on the headphones themselves.
