Pretty great price, except the Wizards changed these over to set boosters making them useless for me Frown

$3.50 per pack is an ok deal, plus 40 land and a die, and those boxes are handy to have. I'm not sure on possible value of cards in the set though, and 8 boosters is a weird number, should be 9 at least.

The set as a whole pretty much cratered in value so not surprised these are tanking as well. Set boosters are far superior to draft however, so not a bad deal if you're willing to gamble on List pulls. I pulled a Cavern of Souls and Gemstone Caverns from them personally.

Not returnable, if that matters. Unless it comes stomped on or something.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

For those wondering

1. The basic lands are not the more desirable black and white lands that you'd get from a draft/set pack. You might get some from the packs though but the 40 or so lands they give you are just standard ones.

2. The value of the current set probably makes this price still a bit risky. If you pull a mythic you'll probably come out ahead, but if you're just expecting to make your money back from 8 rares in the packs you'll probably not get your value.

3. Generally speaking with MTG you need to wait for sets to go out of print and then add a couple of years before its worth it to resell. Also generally, these bundles are less desirable than the draft/set/collector boxes they have out now. There's nothing unique about this package so you're generally looking at the value of 8 set boosters.

Don't buy this if you're trying to make money. But this is probably just the cheapest way to open packs. Everyone seems to hate this set but I had fun with drafting it. But obviously fun != valuable.

Be careful with magic cards from Amazon if you do decide to order them make sure to inspect the packaging closely before tearing into them its really common for Amazon to sell packs that have been been opened had the good stuff pulled out and replaced with bulk rares and resealed.

While it isn't the cheapest way to open packs (you can find set booster boxes of 30 packs for ~$100 after taxes and shipping; $3.33/pack), it is probably cheapest if you only want to open a couple packs.

I had fun drafting this set, bought one draft booster box, one pack had a Meathook Massacre as the rare and another one as the foil. That one pack came within $5 of paying for my box. With that said, it'll never happen again to me.

Crimson Vow seems to be doing worse than Midnight Hunt for value. Again I bought one draft booster box, only 4 mythics, total value of rares and mythics was about $48 as of 11/23/21. Win some, lose some.

For everyone commenting that the set is fun to draft, this bundle has set booster packs not draft boosters, this product can't be used to draft.
