Definitely one of my favorite VR games. I play it wirelessly using my Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop and VD Streamer. There are also lots of great free mods people have made to continue the enjoyment after you've beaten the main game.

No need for a link cable, just use AirLink, works great as long as you have a decent 5 Ghz router https://support.oculus.com/airlink/

What's everyone's recommendation for the best PCVR Racing Game. Mostly for casual and not hardcore Sim Racing.

Can you play wirelessly on your quest 2 with airlink assuming you're closed to your router and PC is hooked directly to your router? I'm brand new to quest 2.

I did not attempt this yet. I don't have wifi 6 and I worried about the latency.

I'm using a cable I bought on Amazon for around $22. Working well so far.

If I ever figure out wireless I'm sure it would feel nicer not being tethered.

Cool, thanks for the reply. CAn you link me to the cable? I have heard mixed reviews on 3rd party cables.

Can you point me in the right direction for the free mods. I played the game twice and I'm bummer that it is over. Amazing game!

I hate leaving my true feelings about this game because I don't want to over-hype it. It's best if you just go in blind. You don't even need to have played other Half-Life games. This is a must play, period.
