Sometimes the 20 bucks isn't worth it. I thought I would wait for it to go on sale too and decided screw it and now I've had one for over a year. Worth much more in my hand than a 20 dollar discount

It depends what you want it for. I think most of us want the shield pro to double as an entry level media server, in which case the cheap version won't cut it due to the lack of expansion ports. I've been waiting for the pro to come on sale since forever to use it as a plex server :/

I don't mean get the non pro instead of the pro. I have the pro. I paid 200 bucks and have had it since Christmas last year rather than spend an entire year waiting to save 10%

And on that page you would have found this thread.
Don't just fly blind and say "oh, I'm new" when someone points out a mistake. You triggered a lot of deal alerts with a repost that was on the front page.
