Ive had a series x controller fail on me just over 3 months and 3 months is the warranty period on these. Luckily, I had not registered it, and when did so on the spot, it recognized it as having 1 more month left. The actual problem was the trigger. While playing, i felt the trigger jam and when i pressed down on it, i felt it crack. The trigger didn't pop back up anymore after. I feel it had something to do with rumble in that area. Nice find...just picked one up locally. Even at the $49.00 (without warranty), this is a great deal on this specific controller. I had just bought this controller at Bestbuy for $69.99 and they refused to price match claiming it was a "Black Friday" special. That's despite this being Walmart's regular price and Bestbuy claiming they will not be beat on prices...not even on Black Friday. Oh well, back to BB it goes. Thanks OP, you saved me $20!

I've never abused any of my controllers, but I've gone through approximately 15 xbox one controllers over the years. The main issue is with the left stick, which just breaks when you play any game that requires you to "click" it in while also using it for directional input. Sports games, the EA Sports NHL franchise in particular, are notorious for causing this issue. In short, your personal experience is nothing compared to thousands of other people who have had issues with their controllers, simply from using them as intended. Your weird judgment and feelings of superiority for managing not to break your controllers while tapping a few buttons during your Viva Pinata sessions, is pretty hilarious. There's a similar issue, though less frequent, with the right sticks. Weird that those would break from abuse, while the rest of the controller remains completely functional. I even had one break after 20 minutes of use. I'm sure everyone is just using hammers to press buttons and throwing their controllers into walls though, while you gently caress your buttons.

I've decided the people who "never had issues with a controller" after countless hours and years of use, are simply trash at video games, so they don't even notice that their controller is having issues. Spray and pray and button mashing have pretty much the same results with a broken controller as with a perfectly-functioning one. Sorry you're terrible, but your controller is broken.

FYI. For people showing OOS try incognito mode or not using your Walmart acct, idk what's going on but it works.

Also PayPal10 also works for $10 off 50 (you don't even have to use PayPal) you just have to add $1 item. I picked up this and the Forza one for 46 using 2 accts.
