Also, to comment on the ability to replace the battery - even though there's not an easy access cover to replace the battery, it's literally as simple as removing 4 screws, pulling the battery, disconnecting the spade lug cables, putting them onto the new battery, and putting everything back together. Took 5 minutes.
I have not done this exact model, but i work in IT and have replaced batteries on a ton of different models and some were like this where you had to pretty much disassemble the entire unit.
May not be worth the savings.

I will say that it recently died on me but had 1 month left on warranty and APC replaced it free and zero shipping charge.
APC is the best brand for UPS units in my opinion and i have worked with hundreds of units over the years.

A lot of people on this forum would say otherwise. APC used to be the only game in town but as I understand it their low end consumer stuff is pretty iffy.
Unrelated; I find it frustrating how hard it is to find a UPS with any kind of PC integration for a reasonable price.
In for one despite the negatives. Good price
But having one of these for just the short power outages in the winter can be very useful and worth the $30.
I bought about 10 different devices of different brands. The 3 of this I got suffered the same brownout for a second as the others and all 3 PCs failed instantly, while the other 7 were fine.
A power strip is about $20 (not on sale) and that's what you'll get. Also, it beeps.
