I have been to all the stores on the lookout for affordable 7.5 ft artificial Christmas trees with pre lit LED, thought I would put all the info here so that it would help someone.

1. LOWES - $79 - best looking of the lot for the price. Natural green and moderately dense
2. Home depot- $89 - dark green and denser than Lowes
3. Walmart - $68 - most affordable, light green and less thicker/ denser than the other two

I picked up one of these at my Walmart just yesterday. They were oos for the last 3-4 days. Then they came in stock so I did an order for curbside pickup and Walmart cancelled my order. I waited a day, bought another one for curbside, cancelled again. So then I went into the store and they had four on the shelf!

Set up the tree and it's quite nice, especially for the price. I am pleased with the needles/tips, but I would have liked more lights. I spent about an hour fluffing all the tips, which was a long time but it was worth it! Overall, a very nice tree.

Maybe I've missed the good deals these past couple years, but it seems like there aren't any screaming deals anymore on the pre-lit trees. A few years back, the light counts were much higher on ones in this price tier, as we're the PVC tips, which are the more expensive plastic molded tips that look a lot more like a real tree.

I dunno if it's just inflation or what, but it's certainly disappointing.
