This was by far the best router we ever had. Hardly ever drops, great connection, debatably better range than higher end models, I have tried a few and nothing came close to it.
Flashing them is half the fun...

Yep. Had this router with native t-mobile . No issues. Now wife needs better wifi and upgraded to mesh. Still have it as a backup. I never flashed it; so no security updates forever. Unless you flash it, likely not most secure. Google has instructions

Extremely reliable router. I have had it running for 8 or so years and it has never had to be restarted except a few times when my internet provider went out. I have Philips Hue lights, Lutron Caseta hub, smart things hub, My Q opener, and 20 other connect devices and never have any issues with throughput or connection in a ~3000 sq. ft. house.
I have a total of 5 of these. They work great as aimesh nodes. I just grabbed a oculus quest 2 from the amazon deal and i'm hoping i'll be able to use the nodes (wired backhaul) with the AirLink thing
I am having a hard time getting these to work with a hotspot connected to them (as a separate network) but cant get it to work. Anyone run into this? Its with a Netgear Unite Explore throug a usb cable.
