Just got an email from Microsoft inviting me to buy the XBox X available in limited quantities on Microsoft Online Store.

You have to bundle a game and a controller and it all came out to $720.
I was able to buy one for the delivery date of 12/22

I know when they drop, but the systems go down and consoles sellout in seconds. These are just trends. Not getting a console doesn't change anything I said. There are people who have been trying waaay longer than I have and still aren't blessed with luck to get one. Meanwhile, pics circulate on Twitter of bot scalpers with dozens of consoles. MS needs to get more consoles out. Sony is stomping them as of late.

My delivery date said 12/22 when I placed the order. Now its changed to 12/27 when I log in to check on the order. You may want to login and check yourself. I need mine for christmas so i am going to cancel

If you try to do a refund on the website it only allows you to cancel the whole bundle. Not individual items.

I saw the email today and was able to order one. The estimated delivery date was 12/22 when I placed the order. But when I logged in to manage the order it says 12/27. I spoke to cusotomer service. They said it could be delivered earlier, but its a gamble. I also verifed that you can order two bundles, but you have to place them separately using the link. You cannot order them at the same time. It requires two different transactions and you can only order to every 30 days. Thats what customer service told me.


"Thank you for waiting. I checked and using the same link, the limit is one bundle per order, and two bundles per 30-day period."

I really really wanted the Halo console but scalpers and pandemic destroyed that dream. So awful that Xbox and Halo anniversaries have to come around the time of COVID.

I got the email and decided to get the bundle even though I had a Series X already. Ended up buying GTA because it was the cheapest that I could see myself playing. I wasn't an insider or anything. I got the Elite Series 2 controller. I love the controller and wouldn't mind having another. I do have another Seagate 1 TB which I was using as game cartridges to flip between for my Series X. Now I'll dedicate one to each console.

Microsoft has some big problems with this e-mail campaign. I received an e-mail on the 19th and clicked on the link within 2 minutes of receiving the e-mail. It redirects me to a page saying not found or something is wrong. I received another e-mail today and the same thing happened. It is so annoying, I wish they would fix their site so that I could at least purchase one unit. Anyone else have this happening to them as well?
