I got the e-mail, but I'm not quite sure I'm ready to pull the trigger. I was intending to get the Xbox Series X sometime in 2022, but I wasn't planning on spending this much *right now*.

I was unable to get a game refund as it didn't even show up in my order history. Since I don't use that account anymore, I'm screwed out of the money for the game and Xbox won't help at all.

I actually just messaged them on the chat with us tab on the Microsoft store. They asked me for a number they sent to my email I gave them that. I gave them the order number. I told them that the game I just bought went on sale can you refund me they said they have to refund the whole game and then repurchase it. They refunded both games hahaha I just canceled out of the chat when they asked me to buy them again haha. Both series x and $49 controllers shipped. They allowed me to buy 2 series x bundles with my account.

How are people's experience regarding ETA delivery dates and actual delivery dates? Do they come earlier than expected or are they delayed? Thanks in advance.

Its disappointing (for me) that people are buying more than one console and are also able to get money back for the games that they purchased while others like me are not even able to make a single console purchase and get hit by the dreaded cannot process payment error. Microsoft process is seriously flawed and leave a bad taste for some including me. On the other side, I got in the que at Walmart for the PS5 drop and was able to secure one in less than 10 min. Process itself speaks volumes regarding difference in approach and making it easier and fair for people to make a purchase for a high demand item. My quest for xbox series x continues despite having received two emails from Microsoft directly but atleast I have a PS5 to keep me entertained for now. Peace!!

I don't feel bad for microsoft as it's a giant company and they can do a better job with the release. However it is very lame all these people in here refunding and returning games and controller from their "bundle". You guys are behaving like scammers and going to ruin this release approach for all of us still waiting for Microsoft to either ship the Xbox series x console or for those still waiting to order

Was like 668 for me with tax. Did the SERIES X, Far Cry 6 (before the drop so trying to bet 20 back still) and the cool blue controller (the multi-color).

I got refunds from Microsoft as stuff went on sale (game, controller) on my orders so check your credit card. They didn't email me about the price adjustment I just got a refund notification from my CC.

It's funny you say this because I've heard the opposite. There was apparently a massive WM+ drop today for consoles and a lot of people were complaining how horrible their queue system. I think opinions are going to be biased towards whatever people have the best luck with. I'm not sure any system is perfect.

I concur. I made the exact purchase for $620 plus taxes. Got FC6 digital game instantly. The extra red controller (love the look) came last week, a couple of days late possibly due to Thanksgiving. The console is due to arrive on 11/30 (fingers crossed). I also used Microsoft rewards points that I've saved over the years to buy $500 in Microsoft gift cards and applied them to this purchase. Granted this is not a "real" deal since I'm paying MSRP for it, but it's a hard to get item due to low stock. So in the end, I'm glad I've saved enough points to cover most of the cost.
