Did anyone try to get 12% cash back with this deal that's being offered by several cash back websites? It's probably not possible since you need the special link to access the discounted price.
Yes, use R*** CB, it's 15% CB today. Install Chrome Extension so you don't need to go through CB website.

Thanks, I didn't think of the browser extension. 15% cash back takes another $144 off. Did you get confirmation from the cash back site?

I have not got CB confirmation yet, but recorded all the transaction inclduding CB activation (screenshot). probably this is because Lenovo has not shipped it yet?

According to the cash back site it should be added to your account the next day. It also says that the use of coupon/promotional codes not listed on their site may void cash back.

Looking to get honest opinion.... are these deals once a year deals or do they come around multiple times a year?

So... I ordered the 20XH005JUS. That model is supposed to have a fingerprint reader (as stated on the product page). If there is a fingerprint reader (should be below the arrow keys, correct?), then I'm too dumb to find it (open to that too). Like the machine overall, and not really heartbroken over it, but I paid for it so I KINDA feel like I should get it.

Anyone that really WANTS a fingerprint reader might want to look into it.

My order was placed on 11/27.

Has anybody received an update from Lenovo about their order? Did it ship yet?
For those who have received the laptop, how's your experience been with it so far?
Are there any accessories that I should consider buying?

Sorry man. Hadn't been here in a while. So far, I like it. never had a carbon, so I can't compare. In fact, I've bought my wife a couple, but this is the first NEW PC I've ever bought myself (other than some new ones from work and a couple I built in the past). I am coming from a MONSTER Dell 17"er that was new back in 2016 and I bought from work for $100. It weight 8 lbs. This one coming in at 3 will be much better for travel...
