No it wasn't. It's been 15% off for a couple weeks and now it's 20%. I've been waiting for it drop to $100. Might have to bite now.

There wasn't a chip shortage or supply shortage last year…you have to include other market variables too, not just "it was lower price x year"… yeah graphics cards were $300 too…

I almost bought the 2TB one a week back when it had that 15% off so I am glad I waited to save a bit more. I have never used an NVMe before but have wanted something 2 TB to replace my 1TB Samsung Evo 860 SSD as my C drive so even though this is not Gen4 it seems like it will be a lot faster than my current drive so I am not sure if I would really notice a huge difference for the extra $100 a Gen4 would have cost.

Finally bit and got the 1TB for $103.

Still walking into a Best Buy tomorrow to look at the nvme drives so who knows if I'll keep it but the hunt is at least coming to an end thank heavens

Does this ssd come with some sort of clone software so I don't have to re-do my OS and all the tweaks I've done and reinstall all the apps?

i still remember when amazon credited you the difference when an item you bought there had a price drop in less than a month. too much of a hassle to wipe the drive, get it out, ship it and order a new one
