And be wary that the price to buy from US may be higher than listed here. Ender-6 from US costs $495 while it's $465 from Czech which do not ship to US. Not sure if this apply to other printers or not.

I actually bought 10 rolls from this site and so far, it has been really good. https://llldmax.com/product/10-x-llldmax-pla/
Would you recommend these?
Or... will the upgrades I need to do on an ender 3 to make it work reliably cost more than just getting a V2 in the first place?

Can confirm. Creality PLA filament is my favorite just on its consistency even over hatchbox which is superb filament. Once you have your temp and settings dialed in it prints perfect parts and I can run multiple rolls without ever having to tweak anything.

Also curious about this since I bought the $100 Ender 3 from MicroCenter a few days ago.
I would get the V2 over the pro. The silent board makes a huge difference in sound over the pro. The board is 50 bucks when bought separately. The V2 comes stock with a glass bed which is like 20 bucks. Granted I still like PEI steel better but glass is nice for some this. I think the V2 is worth it for 100 more. But the pro I got for 100 bucks has been working flawless if you have budget restraints.
Bottom line...I personally won't get another printer unless it has a silent board, but both printers are awesome.
