I would not microwave them and yes, they are a bit soft that will chip or show usage a bit prematurely, but if you like the colors and as cheap as they are, buy double what you need now.

Blue shows still in stock. Red gone. Glad I got a set of each. BTW...pertaining to my Dollars store post above...by April the will be raising their prices to $1.25. No joke. That is what happens when you spend countless TRILLIONS of $$$ in a single year and have no way of paying for it. Your dollar buys only $.80. Not to mention paying employees more because 1/4 of us doesn't want to work. LGB.

Some of the reviews were saying they were so soft that they literally showed scratch marks the first use. Great deal for those who want them, I just don't want to get my Dad some questionable ones. Frown

I received my blue set today. Only a minor chip on the side of one plate. Otherwise, everything is in good condition. For the price and quality, I consider this a slick deal.
