I'd encourage folks to take advantage of the wireless communication to plug this in on a different circuit than their PC, NAS, TVs, or other sensitive electronics.
Definitely don't plug it into your UPS, even on a surge-only outlet.

Can buy refills on eBay for cheap and refill the included toner cart a few

All laser printers do this, completely normal. Most UPS will have a warning in the user manual to not connect laser printers.
