It's worth it because at the same price you paid for the Cyberpower if you include the cash back and possible discount codes.. Then you'd be able to get one with an i7 and a 3060 ti instead of the 3060 and the i5 from the desktop you linked. I paid just under $1200 including tax for mine for an i7 with the ti
Which machine/deal are you referring to for the $1200 after cashback and discount codes? The one here in the OP is a 3060 at Costco. Other than a possible $50 off $500 code, I don't know of any codes or cashback available on this. And it seems to be a 3060, non-ti.

Where did you find the 3060 Ti deal for $1,200? I only see that Alienware deal with a 3060.

How does this compare to the Acer for 1099 listed here?

https://slickdeals.net/f/15441784-nitro-5-gaming-laptop-15-144hz-ryzen-7-5800h-16gb-512gb-ssd-rtx-3060-1099-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Not sure if the extra 100 is worth it except for the screen size and extra warranty

Edit: Also this one seems EXTREMELY big and heavy, where the Acer Nitro 5 seems only really big and heavy. I've heard issues with the build quality on this one feeling cheap as well.
Are you sure you not thinking about the MSI katana? This particular unit has decent reviews

You're right, it was the Katana with the wonky build comments. Still wonder if this one would be considered better for the extra dough.

Also the Costco warranty goes to 4 years, with citi, which makes it worth the extra $100. I have a G14. Thing is a beast of a monster, the panel just took a shit in less than a year. So warranty for the win

Rakten 12% cash back. Any Chase CCs have a 5% cash back (up to $100) that you just have to activate. Then if you have an employee, military, student or some sort of membership discount which knocks off another 10%.

I just paid the extra $98 for the 1 TB SSD instead of the 512 GB
I know it says it has the fan and heat sink combo instead of the liquid cooling in the link, but my order details legit says Lunar Light chassis with High-Performance CPU Liquid Cooling and 550W Power Supply

Gotcha. That seems like a bit of work to make all those discounts happen, but I'll look into it. Thanks.

No problem and not really. Only if you want to squeeze every dollar. My set up just includes the 1 TB SSD. You can go with the 512 and ignore the military/employee discount and still get away with around $1251 for the desktop itself. Rakten CB is a no brainer.. just activate and forget.. and having a Chase CC well if you have one then it's activate and forget as well. A lot of people on here have the Amazon Visa because it's 5% cashback off any purchase from Amazon. That's a Chase CC. Even without it you'd be short another $70 or so? Still worth it for an i7 and an Ti upgrade.

just got this laptop less than a week ago. wonder if they will just refund me the $300 or will they make me return and buy it
If there is a sale within 30 days after you purchase an item at Costco, you can fill out a form and they will reimburse you the difference

Was wondering the same thing and was able to find the spec sheet based on the model listed.
https://storage-asset.msi.com/spe...UE-046.pdf

Says max 130w, which is think is the highest the 3060 goes. I was wondering about the screen and it only says screen is 45% NTSC, but can't find the nits.

The display is the only thing holding me back from this.
https://us.msi.com/Laptop/GE76-Ra...cification

As you can see the ones with a decent display say 3ms response time while this model has no mention at all.

I can't seem to find any reviews for this model but some people are saying the screen is really bad. Not great looking and more importantly a very slow response time.

Yes. Go in and tell the customer service that you're not happy with the price and would like to return it if now given the discount. They'll usually just do it
Look up price match on their site. You don't even have to physically go to the store.
