As a result, you will get whatever stock Amazon has on hand irregardless of where the stock came from. The fake sellers know about this and plan accordingly. Amazon knows about it too, but is too greedy and arrogant to bother to do anything to combat it.
I've gotten enough fake memory cards from Amazon the last couple years that I simply don't bother to buy them there anymore, no matter who is listed as the seller.
Do not buy cards from Amazon.

No different from what I would need to enter for a regular checkout. Didn't have to enter my SSN. It was almost too simple. Paid 25% in first installment. Can pay of the rest anytime with one click. Really impressed with ZipPay. Zero fees.
You'd have the cheap resellers that would get amzn shipping for their cards, and not pay for separate storage from others of the same item. These resellers also happened to be selling fakes....lots of resellers doing this, which flooded the cards that amzn owned, in the same bins (amzn kept their own w/ the other sellers in these cases). Therefore, amzn was selling fakes under their own name.
In addition, they also had issues with purchasing fakes, due to cut throat supply chain demands (they ended up getting fakes, since they were doing the walmart pricing model)

The super cheap ones, like the 1TB cards back when 256GB was the largest produced... those you just filled the whole disk with video. Then checked for file corruption. They would sell a 32gb and program it to display 1TB in the computer...but it would simply write over the 32GB, over and over again, until it wrote 1TB worth. Making any files except for the last 32GB, deleted.
If you google, you can find out the other ways, like the ways to spot when they put a s****y brand 1TB into a counterfeit 1TB that looks like a 1TB Sandisk. Ones that will fail after say 50 or 100 writes, vs 2000+ writes like expected.

It doesn't matter if Amazon is listed as the seller and shipper because Amazon went to a merged inventory system years ago. When a "sold by Amazon" item is sold, the item is simply pulled from any available inventory and shipped.
