Gamestop really holding back on us. They had B2G1 for New games just a few days ago for a criminal 12 hours only! Bring back the New games BOGO!!

About 50/50. I've recieved dlc codes in the case and I've also recieved a ps2 game when I ordered a ps5 game. It's a crap shoot with Gamestop.

Ymmv but I'm 6/6 with original case PS5 games. In fact, GS accidently sent me an extra copy of Miles Morales and a working deluxe code for Deathloop

Fifa 22 is still $19.99 ($18.99 with red card) at Target. It's through Saturday I believe. When GameStop had their 50% extra trade in credit I got $16 for Fifa 21. So, basically a $2.99 upgrade (I know it's only rosters, kits and stadium upgrades, but still).

Also, like others have said, using any rewards certificates will just lower the price of your free game and therefore rendering it worthless to use on any bxgx deal.

I got this deal last year but you are correct it was only for a couple hours. There was a B2G2 on last gen games earlier today and I stocked up on those.

Last year I ended up getting a free 3DS game because I bought 2 (it was b1g1) and the store didn't actually have the game I was able to purchase from them I believe the store said it was wrongly labeled, so they cancelled that one and well, the free game was the one they did have, so free game for me. It was not a cheap game either, was a $30 one.

GS always does something like this. It looks like they fixed the loopholes now though that allowed you to get free games in the past. I also heard other people got screwed because if the game that zeroed out on the order wasn't in stock you got the 2 games you paid for and the free game you just didn't get.

FYI GameStop is may give you brand new sealed copies of games bought under this promo. I made the order for FarCry 6, Ratchet and Clank, Ghost of Tsushima (all pre-owned, to qualify for this promo) and picked up a few hours ago. To my surprise, they were all sealed brand-new copies. Very pleasantly surprised with this sale, happy thanksgiving!

EDIT: Double-checking the receipt, it looks like if you pick up in-store for New Gen consoles and the store doesn't have pre-owned copies in stock, they will have to give you a brand new copy. So be sure to pick up in-store if you can!
