Wait this tablet can't install Netflix?
I'm replying on one an just installed the Netflix Android app. If you need additional storage, port replicators and USB C drives work. My replicator even has video out. I have a fire tablet AND this. The Lenovo requires no hacking and I personally like it better. I have already broken a few Fire screens.

When I click your link I get a pop up that asks for name and email and states a $100 reward for first time Lenovo customers but when I try to fill it out the site crashes...
I believe it's $100 off a $1000 purchase, but they'll give like $10 off a $100 purchase, etc

I submitted a request this morning and within minutes got an email confirming $40 back on 2 tabs I purchased.
I tried doing their online chat to see if that would get a quicker price protection refund, but the online chat agent doesn't actually have the authority to give a price protection refund. The chat agent just helped send the request to their price protection team. So online chat didn't really help with this (although they helped verify that my screenshot matched their price protection requirements).

Do you know if the Netflix app you installed does 1080p and offline downloads?

Pulled the trigger on this and the keyboard folio case. Will be good for light browsing and book reading. Don't forget to try Slickdeals Rewards for 12% CB.

I will return the Fire HD 10 Plus because mine updated to 7.3.2.2 which cannot be used with XDA to side load Google Play. I found that I really dislike FireOS, and there are many apps only available on Google Play Store. I also paid for some apps that yep, won't transfer to Amazon App Store. Might as well just go with this nice Chromebook with ChromeOS and skip the hassle.

So far from thread, speakers are not good and there's no SD card slot, but otherwise a great budget tablet!

Same CPU, one extra gig RAM (like the Fire HD 10 Plus), runs ChromeOS. Screen has 20 fewer nits (less bright). No SD card slot which I like for downloading offline content. Much longer updates, but who will really keep this till 2028? I'd say it's better if you plan to pair it with a keyboard for productivity, otherwise the Fire tablet is good enough for content consumption.

Also, ChromeOS will NOT run all available Android apps. A good number of them are disabled. Netflix/HBO/Disney/Hulu are some big ones (disabled or video downgraded to 720p on some devices due to WideVine issues). You will have to use the web browser to access them.
Wait, you can't install streaming apps? Half the reason that I want a tablet is to stream movies. And I'm guessing you need the Netflix app in order to download movies, can't do that in the browser. Can anyone confirm?

And it looks like Amazon Prime is standard def 480 only. Seems to be a Chromebook problem. What the hell?

I think you have to consider in today's terms and I believe iPhones now come with 64GB min.
Either way, this still has a way to expand (might be a pain but still can do USB-C drives).

Bought last week for my 6 year but returning.... This is crippled for using as a chromebook/education (small screen, atrocious speakers and no USB A) and no memory card kills it as a tablet.
