"Lenovo Tips application advertising paid services via notifications

I know that hardware manufacturers install their own apps on the devices they sell to try and improve user experience but today I was surprised to see the following on my P11 this morning: A notification of an offer to join Amazon music.
There is no option to dismiss you have to click to find out more.
Further, these notifications cannot be disabled, nor can the Lenovo "Tips" app be disabled.
This is not a tip. This is a push that is advertising a paid service.
I loathe this sort of thing.
Please allow us to disable any service and app so that we can just use the tablet as we intended.

To make things worse the Lenovo tips app has full control over the tablet, shame on you Lenovo. Now forced to root the tablet as it's the only way to remove your nasty adware"

Now I found this if anyone wants to try to disable the TIPS app:
"to disable the Tips app:
$ adb shell pm list packages | fgrep -i tips
package:com.tblenovo.lenovotips
$ adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 'com.tblenovo.lenovotips'
Package com.tblenovo.lenovotips new state: disabled-user
Note that you will need to install Android adb on you PC/Laptop, enable Developer options on the tablet and then enable USB debugging in those options. On connection you will have enable the device you are running adb on and then you can list and disable packages."

I managed to show the price reduction in the cart and submitted the price adjustment to Lenovo for the P11 Plus 6GB ram 128GB SSD model I purchased a week ago.
Hopefully price adjustment officially goes through within 48 hours.
For anyone wondering, although not OLED, the screen quality is quite good for streaming YouTube, Hulu, Showtime,etc. Very happy with the tablet so far (especially for the price).
I didn't purchase the keyboard due to many issues reported on typing not registering. I'm suspecting some software issue with Android 11 OS this comes with.

Oh, and thanks for posting this op; I had this on my deal alerts. I wanted to do some gaming on this tablet, so the Snapdragon 662 on the P11 / Tab A7 or Exynos 9611 on the S6 Lite just wouldn't cut it.
