No thanks. I've converted everything to electric at my house. Small engines are a PITA, noisy and bad for the environment. This is a great pressure washer plenty of power to clean driveways.
Also a $299.99 gas pressure washer is probably junk.

That's 2GPM at 100 PSI. Very misleading. Compare that to a gas at 3000 PSI and 2.3 GPM. Absolutely no comparison. This drops to 1.1 GPM at 3000 PSI. That's less than half the flow of water. You can buy a damaged 3000 PSI gas pressure washer for $50 on marketplace and a pump for $85 on Amazon all day long if you need a real unit to clean siding or a driveway. It's 4 bolts and 10 minutes. The pumps are all cast aluminum and will crack if not winterized. Doesn't matter if it's electric or gas. You have to drain them. I use these for a business. The electric are fine for washing a car, but too slow for larger jobs. You don't need to pre-soap with a strong gas unit. With electric it's imperative to get a similar clean, and takes 2x as long or more.

I disagree. I'm done dealing with oil and leaks and storing pressure washers for the winter. Go electric and you won't go back. Literally just plug in and push a button and the only things prohibiting me from going electric years ago was that gas ones were so much more powerful but with this model (that I own) it keeps up with any reputable gas powered pressure washer.

I think to summarize this thread. For those that are "strictly" looking for an electric pressure washer and have no interest in a gas washer, then this is a good product. As this is one of the more powerful washers (in terms of electric). If you need more power than the specs listed, then go gas.

Looking to get one to clean gutters and outside stuff. How is https://www.greenworkstools.com/2...ure-washer ?
I have the 2300psi model that you linked and you should have no problems cleaning gutters. Not sure what other outside stuff you have in mind, but I've used mine to clean vinyl fencing, concrete, and car washing (I use a foam cannon as well). I haven't had any issues and I would recommend it, but you also can't go wrong with the one linked by the OP.

I just noticed that Amazon has same spec units for 130. Is this brand/version really that much better?

Just bought this for the purpose of car washing and driveway. How would you adjust the PSI to 2500 so it doesn't strip the paint? What's your method?
If you use the right tips you'll be fine. I'd use the 40 deg, never the 0 or 15 deg. You can always start off at a distance and then get in closer. Respect the pressure when using the narrow tips, those things can cut deep so wear boots.

I think this is the best summary. This offering isn't to trick or mislead anyone to buying this. If you're considering gpm, pressure, large surface area jobs, this is def not for you. Go gas as others have mentioned. For the weekend warriors that don't mind spending an extra 30 min doing a driveway and don't want to deal with getting gas in a tank, changing the oil, etc etc, then this is perfect. I value convenience and ease more than the extra power I get from gas.

I just bought this smaller 1 from Costco $140 2000 psi 1.2 gpm but haven't used it yet to see how it works.

My driveway is pavers so don't really need to pressure wash that, mostly light cleaning and maybe washing the cars.

I purchased 2300 PSI 2.3 GPM instead for $187.5 + tax, personally I don't think it justify the extra $150 for the extra PSI for my use, which will be mostly used to wash car and some driveway and siding clean up, from the reviews, 2300 will serve the purpose just fine. Note: there are two 2300 PSI models, GPW2300 and GPW2301, not sure the differences, but I went with GPW2301, it's $10 more than GPW2300

GPW230: 2300 MAX PSI at 1.2 GPM, 2.3 GPM MAX at 100 PSI
I dont mind the extra time, can they be used to clean Siding of my house?
Little confused, as the 2300 PSI model has higher GPM at 100PSI.
And for both of them, Greenworks says:
Quote :
JettFlow™ technology delivers up to 50% more flow, reaching higher areas and quick power rinsing
edit:

Maybe 2700 PSI [greenworkstools.com] would be better, they actually state it reached up to 20feet, unlike other models.
And its on sale.

Try the promo code UNDERPRESSURE. The initial code is no longer valid, but the new one will still get you $100 off.
