No thanks. I've converted everything to electric at my house. Small engines are a PITA, noisy and bad for the environment. This is a great pressure washer plenty of power to clean driveways.
Also a $299.99 gas pressure washer is probably junk.

That's 2GPM at 100 PSI. Very misleading. Compare that to a gas at 3000 PSI and 2.3 GPM. Absolutely no comparison. This drops to 1.1 GPM at 3000 PSI. That's less than half the flow of water. You can buy a damaged 3000 PSI gas pressure washer for $50 on marketplace and a pump for $85 on Amazon all day long if you need a real unit to clean siding or a driveway. It's 4 bolts and 10 minutes. The pumps are all cast aluminum and will crack if not winterized. Doesn't matter if it's electric or gas. You have to drain them. I use these for a business. The electric are fine for washing a car, but too slow for larger jobs. You don't need to pre-soap with a strong gas unit. With electric it's imperative to get a similar clean, and takes 2x as long or more.

I disagree. I'm done dealing with oil and leaks and storing pressure washers for the winter. Go electric and you won't go back. Literally just plug in and push a button and the only things prohibiting me from going electric years ago was that gas ones were so much more powerful but with this model (that I own) it keeps up with any reputable gas powered pressure washer.

Does anyone know how well, or does it at all, work with a surface cleaner?
Which surface cleaner does anyone recommend for this?
Anyone have any experience? Thanks
Very well. I did my driveway with a surface cleaner, good results, no different from my neighbors gas pressure washer/cleaner combo

Both good. I prefer Greenworks since I have some of their other products. No complaints.

Even though this is a very powerful pressure washer that I would like to own the inconvenience of dragging an extension cord along with the pressure wash hose and the garden hose, and the annoyance of detangling is enough to deter me. Speaking from my past experience with 1800psi Greenworks electric pressure washer.

I bought a Troybilt 3100psi pressure washer when Lowes had a sale on it 3 years ago, very happy with the convenience to lose the electric cord. Pump saver every winter, and some Stabil in the gasoline.
Yea I agree if you need the mobility of a gas then this isn't for you. I'm just residential so having a 50ft extension cord is no issue for me.

Thanks. Just don't want to buy the Gas ones bc really only need this thing once a year in the Spring to do my patio. Don't want to deal with an engine for the very occasional use. I did order this. Where/How much is the surface cleaner? Also tell me more about how to use the concrete cleaner??? Thanks
Any surface cleaner from Amazon should work. Just get one that works for a 3000 psi model. I don't think you need concrete cleaner. I am able to get out most stains from my concrete driveway without chemicals.

Thanks (and thanks OP -- both repped). Looks like this is going to be my first "didn't plan to buy this" Black Friday purchase. I have never purchased a pressure washer because I didn't want to go gas, but also knew that electric ones are weak and unreliable. So I just periodically paid somebody else to pressure wash my deck and patio.

QUESTIONS (since I've never used one):
1) For cleaning a deck and patio, do I need a surface cleaner? Sounds like I do.
2) For a 3,000 PSI model like this, do I need to buy the big 15" surface cleaner? It doesn't say so on the Greenworks website, but the smaller one on sale at Amazon [amazon.com] says "up to 2,000 PSI"
3) Do I have to buy a Greenworks brand surface cleaner, or are they universal?
Don't get the 2k psi surface cleaner, get one that works for 3k psi. I wouldn't cheap out on this. I spent $50 for my 15" surface cleaner. I use the surface cleaner often for patio concrete. I wouldn't use it for wood or anything sensitive. Always test in an area. I rarely use the turbo attachment, too powerful for my needs. And any surface cleaner works, you don't need the Greenworks. I have the karcher from Amazon rated to 3200 psi. Don't want to link in case it gets removed.

Yea this pressure washer isn't suited for business at all. But given that most on here are retail and have residential uses, this is the best pressure washer for most of us.

Thanks, the reason I ask about surface cleaner is that I previously tried a small 11" surface cleaner with a Ryobi 2000psi 1.2GPM electric PW, and it did not work, it just drew circles around the perimeter of the surface cleaner and did not clean the entire space under itself. I figured the electric PWs were not powerful enough to drive surface cleaners.

I would just get gas. The numbers are impressive for this being electric if true but you can get better performance from a gas pressure washer at a lower price. I know some people have problems with gas but that is usually operator error. Heck, I'm still using a Stihl hand held leaf blower that I have done nothing but add gas to for the past 9 years. I've done no other maintenance and that thing is started frequently just to blow out the garage and what not.

This guy has been really informative to watch. PSI for washing a driveway is about 2200 with the 15 degree nozzle but now Im afraid to check what my Sunjoe 2k really does.

Edit: Also, the GPM is on avg, around 1.2 for most of the nozzles. Without, I think he said ~1.7ish. Was looking at different branded surface cleaners and now I realize the one I was looking at asked for 1.8 min. Back to browsing surface cleaners.

Edit2: Just found Sunjoe SPX3000 [youtube.com] and with a 0 degree tip, it's about 1500 psi. So sub 1500 (for a 15 degree tip) vs 2200 is what my decision is based around. Hopefully this helps other Sunjoe users make a better decision.

From experience you'll need to get the bigger one. The smaller greenworks one will not handle the pressure. They last about 20 min before the seals blow out, trust me on this one I went through 2 of them.
The surface cleaner makes the job a lot easier the turbo nozzle works well, but takes much longer.
I've been using mine weekly for a few months now to wash the cars and clean the driveway and patio. Absolutely happy with my purchase.
Just bought this for the purpose of car washing and driveway. How would you adjust the PSI to 2500 so it doesn't strip the paint? What's your method?

I just use the 40 degree nozzle and stay at least a foot from the car. I have a shorty gun I use for car washing.
I wouldn't necessarily advise it but at a foot you can put your hand in front of the nozzle with a 40 degree tip.

That small 10' x 10' patio on the previous YouTube video took him 30 minutes to clean. With a gas unit you would have that done in 5 minutes. You would be way ahead to rent a gas unit and do your patio, driveway, and sidewalk compared to struggling with this electric unit. It would take a week to do a driveway at that GPM with his technique.
You cannot be efficient at 1.1 gpm. This teeters on false advertising because homeowners don't know to compare GPM with useful spray tips.

This unit with the green tip, the most useful tip, runs at 1.2 GPM at 2000 psi. That should be the rating on the box. Way off from what is advertised.

If this was $150 I'd say go for it. Perfect for a car or small items.

These electric pressure washers are good for cleaning your car and maybe a small sidewalk but they can't replace a good gas one. You can tell this just by looking at the pressure vs gpm. The headline here is very misleading because it's only that gpm at 100 psi! That sucks. If you are looking to clean a decent sized driveway or side of your house you'll be much more pleased with even just a 2,000 psi or so at like 2.2 gpm. I have a 4,200 psi at 4.0 gpm that I use to clean my driveway with a surface cleaner but it's too much to handle and a workout if I try to use that on my car because you have to be really careful. That's where the electric one I have works perfect and it was the most powerful I could find last year... still doesn't match my smaller gas one that has less pressure but more gpm. You have to look at both to get an accurate assessment of how the pressure washer will perform.
