I ended up buying the bundled kitchen system for $102 plus tax, $30 kohl's cash. But the blender by itself is a good deal too. I bough 1000 watt non autoIQ version for $50 from Costco. I'll either gift it or return it eventually. I like having the option of blending in the 24 ounce smoothie cups for smaller serving shakes , blended oats pancake batter in smaller servings. I believe it's more difficult to grind oats into oat flour in the bigger blender jug

How much better is this blender than the ninja I have (Ninja Master Prep Professional Blender (QB1004))?

How do these do for smaller loads? All of these good blenders have 72oz jars, but I only ever make smoothies for myself. I need the power that many personal blenders can't provide due to using a lot of very hard/frozen stuff, but I only ever make a few cups' worth. Would those still do well?

I have made smaller quantities and it blended fine. I purchased the Costco one and love it!

I've owned this for nearly two years, no complaints. Prob the best blender I've had, granted I'm no aficionado on blenders. For the price it does a neato job.
