The Snoo baby bassinet is rarely on sale and hard to get discounts for.. which is why I wanted to post my first (go easy on me!) SD link. It's highly recommended.

Can add additional 5% cash back if using Chase freedom through PayPal.

Happy sleeping!

I have one for our 2 month old. Rental program. So far money well spent. Can't complain. I think I'd do rental unless you have 2+ kids on the family plan back to back

Was hoping they'd have a deal for rental on Black Friday, guess not. I agree with you, rental is the way to go unless you'll have 2+ kids close together. You also have the option to just return after a month or two (depending on plan chosen) if it's not working for your baby. Glad to hear it's working for you.

Also, if anyone is planning on buying second hand, there are a lot of scams out there with 'stolen' Snoos. Be careful.

Yes! If you're buying used, always register the Snoo to your name via the app before completing the transaction. That way you know the Snoo was correctly unregistered by the previous owner or isn't an unreturned rental.

I was just thinking about this crib. I actually went to a trade show with the creator speaking about 5 years ago. I was wondering if it was still around. I just went for an entire bedroom set instead of the Snoo.

You could also call their support and provide a photo of the serial number and they'll unregister it for you. That's what I did with the used Snoo I purchased. Was worth every penny for us!

I'd tell you all to rent it. Own it and it is an overpriced paper weight. Kid can sleep anywhere but on the snoo. 2 days over the return policy and there company denied the return.

Don't believe the hype.

Personal experience. Purchased years ago at a discount where it was several hundred cheaper. Worked amazing for the first child (literally sleeping through the night within the first few weeks). Worked, but not nearly as well for child two. We have also lent it to a few people to help feel like it was worth the investment.

Based on the comments here and from other places, I think we're going to rent. We have #3 due in March, and she'll be our last. So for just one child, paying paying 600 to rent vs 1200 to own seems much better.

We got this a couple of years ago with our first child. Worked great for us. It was much cheaper then, though, and we were able to flip it for about $700. So the total cost in the end was just about $200, which is comparable to a good traditional bassinet.

Renting works for sure, just FYI though resale value for these is easily 650 and can get to 750. So you may pay less with buying and selling, but more hassle. Buying is mostly useful if you see it being used by more than one kid, either your own future kids or nieces/nephews/friends etc
