I paid $261 for this on Amazon 7 years ago. Totally worth every penny.
This, for me, is exponentially better than my Proheat 2x was. I gave my Proheat 2x to a friend after I bought this and never looked back. Thia cleans better and in way less time. It also leaves the floor much more dry than the 2x did. Just my opinion based on owning both so ymmv

Was waiting for this deal forever, but just jumped on a Bissell Proheat 2x Pet Pro instead after doing some more research for way less. Literally everything I can find makes it seem like the Proheat 2x does as good as/better of a job than this does, and I like that it has the option of an express/lighter clean mode where stuff dries in like an hour rather than in a day, which we will use quite often. Also seems like it will be a whole lot easiest to maneuver.

Haven't taken delivery of it yet though, so still time for someonie to change my mind if I'm wrong about this. But w/ Kohl's cash added in, got the Proheat 2x Pet Pro for sub-$200.

Been meaning to buy this for a couple of years. Based on all the reviews from current owners, this is the best home carpet machine you can get. At the very least on par with renting a rug doctor from your grocery store, if not better.

These are superior carpet cleaners that work great for an entire cleaning. Far superior than spot cleaning from pets. I have used big green a dozen times, and they clean very well. I paid only $220 Five years back during a sale

I rented this from Lowe's for a day. Super easy to use and clean up, did an outstanding job cleaning, and takes up very little room for storage. So of course I jumped on this deal!

It is as good if not better. Some stores(Lowe's is one) rent these exact ones. Aside from a professional coming in this is as good as it gets IMO.

I've been using mine for about a year. It's easy to use, nothing has broken, the suction is great, and despite what other's night suggest, you can somewhat see the water being sucked up, clear plastic not required, and there is a spinner on the top that also tells you the machine is working aside form the nose of course.

Under 300 was great last year, so just over might be about right this year. It's not small by any measurement, but it's easy enough to move around that I clean a room about once every 2-3 months (pet household).
