I'm going with Costco because it has easy returns.

I've been looking for a Cricut deal for a while and this looks to be the cheapest bundle I've seen for the Maker. I was tempted to get the Costco one for easy returns but for an additional 11 bucks I get a lot more stuff in this bundle. Thanks OP

i also wanted the costco one for returns, but it's out of stock so considering this. any chance you can tell me what more you get with this bundle? 11 bucks isn't a bad difference, but curious to see exactly what you're getting for it, thanks!

Wondering how many people on etsy and similar sites use this... or what they use instead. I don't plan on having a business like that, but I am curious if one could really justify this sort of thing just for themselves

Edit: I did some reading, and it turns out that Cricut (the company) tried to change the model to be a subscription based one... and charge like $15 a month. They got a lot of flack for it, and ended up reversing that decision. I also am seeing that they limited (or maybe still limit?) the amount of prints you can do in a month to like 10 or 15... so if any of this is true - and if it still applies today - I'm definitely not interested.

Also, for what it's worth, the Explore Air 2 is $149 on Amazon.

I have read about that as well and seems that the alternative of the Silhouette Cameo 4 is what some are opting for instead. I am not familiar with either of the machines but had been looking for my own personal crafting uses.

I have the same question as others. Is this a better bundle than the Costco deal? I have one ordered from Costco, but would return if this is a better bundled starter deal. It is a gift for my 11 year old daughter and I'd like to make sure she has everything she needs to get started. I'm a Dad who knows nothing about these machines and am confused by the bundles. Thanks for any advice you may have! 😊

OP forgot to mention that Cricuts website is offering a $20 credit for future purchases if you spend $100 on their site. The credit will be emailed to you within a week. I purchased mine on Friday and am still waiting for the credit.

As far as I'm aware. There's no limit to printing and no subscription needed. Seeing as how it turned out for them just mentioning it. I highly doubt they will go that model or bring it up again. Unless they want a clone company to take them out. My wife uses it for clothes mostly with making custom stuff holidays. She does pay her and there for the Disney licensed stuff. But if you really want, tons of ways to never pay for anything if your tech savvy enough.

Based on reviews I read, the silhouette is fine if you're going to stick to vinyl and other thinner materials, but the cricut excels when it comes to heavier materials (which is the only reason to buy the maker over the cheaper air explore to begin with)

May want to add the the OP, if you add the access subscription, it brings it down to $251 and you get a month of the access subscription (my wife is a teacher and will really be able to take advantage of it over Christmas break)

I ordered one from kohls, that I will return, it was $287 after tax with a much smaller bundle but came with $75 kohls cash. Would be a slightly better deal, but my wife's trips to use her kohls cash usually end up costing me more money.

In for 1. Good deal. I have been searching for a while and next to Costco's deal. This was the best with more in the bundle and a $20 credit to use later after $100 purchase on Cricut website.
