For those Series S owners, Walmart.com is offering the digital version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy [walmart.com] for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One $25. Dead Available again

Additionally, they have the Digital Deluxe Upgrade [walmart.com] for $10.

Saved $10.49 by buying it through Walmart.com instead of Xbox.com which currently has it on sale as part of their Black Friday Digital sale for $45.49.

I might be in the minority of gamers on this but I actually prefer a good single player campaign with a solid story. So I was very happy to grab this for $30 the other day at best buy. It's a fun game so far.

Series S/digital consoles definitely makes gifting more difficult

I do too. What's the point in endless grinding? Free games do that all the time almost all games are multiplayer now. One bigger budget game comes out that is SP and people complain? MP fans got at least 3 giant MP games just this year, not to mention continues support of Battle Royal and Moba games.
