I just picked one up today at Costco and can confirm that the Roku YouTube app does support speed change range of 0.25x to 2x.
Tested the 2x speed and the audio is played quite fast to a point of being unintelligible!
But if your brain works 2x faster than mine, then you should be able to understand it!

Be forewarned that this model seems to have bad vignetting / uneven brightness at the corners and edges. It's very noticeable with solid colors (do an all white screen test via YouTube and you'll see what I mean!) ... but not so for movies and dark backgrounds. Thought it was a defective tv, but a replacement had the same issue but was slightly less uneven.

I'm keeping the replacement since it has all the other bells and whistles for the given reasonable covid, post China tariff price of $349 at the warehouse:

* eARC
* Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos
* Auto Low Latency Gaming Mode + VRR
* Native Roku which I wholeheartedly recommend
* Alexa basic voice control via Roku Skill (manual did not disclose how to enable voice activation)
* Very loud sound which is decent enough for everyday use
* Reasonably bright screen using the "Brighter"/"Normal" video screen options

Why is this thread labeled "expired" and moved to Deal Talk? Costco stock is somewhat regional, so it'll be OOS for some zip codes and in stock for others

Does anyone know how the model lines of the Hisense compare?

R7G5 vs U6GR5?

Went to the St. Charles, MO store this morning expecting these to be gone. They had a full shelf of 7.. even though my zip code was "sold out" online.

Thinking about getting the 50inch version for PC monitor, right now using a 43" Samsung M7 monitor, what do you think? I can still return the M7 purchased for $404 with tax

Ordered one online for the kids play room. Moved our 10 year old basement TV to the den to use as a "zoom/teams" monitor for office calls.

Seems to be a great price for a decent TV. The warranty sold me… 3 year manufacturer + 2 year Citi card extension.

My TVL roku 65" died 7 days out of the 2 year warranty earlier this year 🤦

I went to my local store to get this TV today($10 cheaper than online), but instead picked up a TCL 55'' Android TV with similar specs. I personally prefer Android TV and it's cheaper at $329.99, which is a better deal I think. I couldn't find the TCL TV on Costco.com anyway, so it's YMMV.

I'll bite. Rtings rated the U6 series as the best budget TV. This model slots higher on the model chart
Not true. The U series is higher end, with quantum dot and local dimming zones. It's a good deal, but not as good as the R8F, which unfortunately sold out.

Best Buy either says the same thing or $80 shipping charges
Target same as Costco above
