Gonna preface this by saying I didn't thumb down.
However, personally, I find buying second hand vacuum cleaners very yucky. I might consider it if it's referb from Dyson directly, as I'd imagine they at least give you new filters. However, this is from amazon, so I'm not sure how much sanitization they even do.

Gonna preface this by saying I didn't thumb down.
However, personally, I find buying second hand vacuum cleaners very yucky. I might consider it if it's referb from Dyson directly, as I'd imagine they at least give you new filters. However, this is from amazon, so I'm not sure how much sanitization they even do.

These are factory reconidtioned, which I interpret as "refurbished by Dyson", right?

The different V11 models, are they all the same except for the accessories that comes in the package? i.e., the price difference between them only for the extra pieces?

I'm not sure if these are refurbished by Dyson. The description said it didn't come in an original box and I think Dyson fulfills their refurbs through ebay. Anyway, as long as it's clean and not damaged, this is still a good deal. I picked up the torque unit.

I would buy this when it's sold by Dyson through Walmart. I ordered once before and the vacuum arrived clearly looking used. Walmart replaced.

I wouldn't buy anything from woot as their customer service is garbage

Still waiting on v10 Absolute for $280 from Walmart or Ebay. I already bought two previously and the refurb was done professionally by Dyson.

I wouldn't equate factory reconditioned (could be a third-party "factory") with Dyson refurbished. Seems like it would be in their best interest to claim that Dyson refurbished it if that was really the case.

I bought the v11 refurb from Woot. It is a refurb from Dyson, comes with all paperwork and warranty thru Dyson, everything was super clean and I never would have known it was a refurb save for it saying so in the paperwork.

I picked it up from Costco for $450 and I am a fan. It is not full lidar but uses the bumper and a camera to intelligently vacuum. The self empty part is amazing IMO. The first time it did unfortunately jam due to the insane amount of debris it pick up. That was after I had just vacuumed.... oops.

Room mapping I have not gotten down yet as it is still learning after 4 runs.
