I've tried 3 times in the sales chat to get the $25 promo applied, but no luck. Any other tips?

I am not super smart about tech, but perhaps an expert on this thread can help. Toying with doing the processor upgraded to the Ryzen 7 but not sure if it's worth the $90 premium.

https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-com...en-5-5500u

Looks like, as you would expect, modest improvement in individual core performance (sub 10%), but ryzen 7 results in overall 25%ish increase multi core performance (two more cores, after all).

What I don't know is, how much is this likely to impact your day-to-day? light gaming, browsing, x265 playback, 4K video etc. I don't think it's going to have a huge impact except on maybe processor-heavy loads, but that varies from application to application, right? For example, Civiliation, as I understand it, is processor heavy so that could benefit but other games might not? How is video playback impacted?

I have ordered 3 of these now. Each time getting a better deal. Next great deal advice.

***Order, wait a few hours and then call to cancel. You MUST call and wait a few hours. They will add a "recovery specialist" to the call who will offer you either free 2-year warranty or an extra $30 off.

Used EPP and got $321.99 as well. Couldn't resist, even though I got one of the last $429 Lenovo i5 in this area.

My work laptop has a backlit keyboard (it's a dell) and I think it may be the most useless thing. I am not sure why people want it. Maybe on the silver where the key names lit up, but on a black keyboard with white lettering.. useless.
I'm also not getting what's the use of adding the backlit keyboard. Someone please enlighten me.

How do you get $321.99?
I'm seeing $349.99. Unfortunately when I ordered it was $354.99.
Don't know if they'll adjust the price if I call them now
