Great deal tbh, probably the best deal with a 5500U, compared to the other i3/i5 and even i7 deals, 5500U almost always comes out on top.
2 RAM slots, replaceable NVME and WiFi card, FHD IPS screen
only downside is the not so great battery size and probably not so great build quality.

but for sub-400, this is a no-brainer and can handle pretty much anything you can throw at it, especially if you take the 2x8GB 3200 RAM upgrade.

just wish other retails can price match on specific builds.

Ryzen 7 5700U is an option for an additional $90, didn't check the benchmarks to compare, but the Ryzen 5 5500U is probably fine for most people...

That's the name of the integrated graphics chip on this APU, It's not trying to mislead anyone.

I have canceled a few times the last few days getting a better deal each time. I was told nothing is guaranteed but as long is it hasn't shipped yet there is a good chance it will be canceled and refunded.
Hey, what was the outcome of your cancelation requests?

They claim you could still be charged the 15%. Have you received the "second email" that tells you how much you will be receiving back on your credit card? In the same boat..
Any update on your cancelation request? I hope you didn't get charged the restocking fees.

Almost 20 hrs after canceling my order (due to a incorrect config, which they refused to modify), I still did NOT get any proof of cancellation from HP. Not even a request for cancellation email. Did any of you get an email after canceling the order? If not the final cancellation, at least a initial email?
How did it go finally for your cancelation request? Thanks.

I'm getting a sub total of $369.99 configured exactly how you describe.
Yup I did the same and CSR applied $25 coupon on the cart. Except CA need to pay $5 for recycling fee and $26 in tax. Also cb site provided 12% and paypal with chase 5%. Overall good deal. Thanks for posting this deal.

The 2 year care pack being offered to us - what exactly does it do and how is it any better than the default? I wrongfully assumed it is a 2 year extended warranty which I was wrong about.

That is awesome. Good for you!

The supervisor I spoke to was very categorical in stating that "in her professional experience there is a very high likelihood of it processing as a return and not a cancelation and me incurring the 15% restocking fees". Whether or not she was sincere, I had to cut my risk and not place a new order and cancel this one.

So what is the outcome of your cancelation request? Thanks.
Order placed on 11/25 evening. Chat to rep next day 11/26 afternoon to cancel it. Not sure if they put in a request or not. So I sent email support 11/27 morning to ask another rep to check status.

It seems like they had no way to check whether there's already a cancellation request, so the email support put in another request.

Just got email now, 11/30 evening that order is cancelled and will credit back full refund.

I'd say about 2 business days overall.

Good for you! How many emails do they send for cancellation? How many days did it take from asking them to cancel, to getting the refund?
24 hrs after asking them to cancel, I don't have even a single email from them on cancellation!

It has been a day and a few hours since. Not even a email from them on that yet.
