I really loved Odyssey, which is why I am interested in this as well. That, and being able to be a pillaging, skull-crushing viking! From what I have read in the reviews, this is more open world / . Odyssey does have quite a bit of mandatory story line quests and side quests that you have to endure. That said, the game play is incredible and a lot of the story lines are interesting. There were some challenging quests, but only about three events were REALLY tough to get through.
