That is not my personal experience. Yes, if you use a Grubhub promo code, you must use a credit card or Paypal. However, in this case, these are not promo codes, these are gift card codes that will load into your Grubhub account as a Gift Card balance and valid payment method. You can use a promo code with an order and it will take the balance off of your Gift card balance first as the payment method and it there isn't enough of a balance to pay for the entire order, it will take the remainder from a credit card or Paypal.I've had a giftcard balance on my Grubhub account for a long time and never had a problem using a promo code with an order and paying with my gift card balance. Again, that's been my personal experience.

Edited to Add: When checking out, whether you use a promo code or not, on payment method, you have to scroll down on the payment methods and Gift Cards should be listed right under your credit cards. . Just hit "Apply Your Gift Cards".

Tried a second order with VPN, different email and payment method but payment got declined however, it still charged me. Customer service was horrible and just said to contact bank. Done with this deal.

First order, tried paypal, said denied, both paypal and credit card associated with it were charged. Tried again with just a credit card, denied again, charged again.

I'll wait a few days to see if it drops off, if not ill report to credit card as fraud,this has been a terrible experience, no wonder why cashstar has bad reviews. Never had issues with other giftcard merchants

Wow. Yup horrible experience. Never using CashStar again. I contacted my bank also.

It looks like the uniqueness in billing address was sufficient to make multiple transactions for GC over cashstar. I just used paypal for both transactions but for second one I CAPITALIZED billing address and it went through Smilie
