The SKU is WD60EFZX which is actually a CMR drive not SMR. See:

Another personal experience- I have 2 of those usb drives (256gb version). Both run very hot and both are dead.

I would avoid this design. Get one with a squared end instead. This tapered end acts as a ream if you drop your device on its USB port.

FWIW I have a 64gb in a OMV box and can't say the same. But I'll retire mine if I can get a small form factor 2.0 from anyone else other than a scalper on amazon/ebay or for a reasonable price from a reputable retailer.
