Bought Jaws of the Lion when it was on sale recently and haven't opened it yet... I've heard that's an easier entry to this game than the OG Gloomhaven for what that's worth. Smilie

This is mine and several friends' favorite board game. The combat is tactical and strategic to a deeper level than classics like XCom or Might & Magic, and the characters are more varied and unique than your average RPG tropes. I wouldn't call it a "puzzle" game, though, because there's freedom to create several potential routes to success during each encounter. That's one of the best things about it!
