This TV is good for the price. If you're handy with android and tinkering, I would enable dev mode and debloat this thing.
Check out XDA or other resource for more
For mine, I did
- Disable animation speeds
- Debloat
- Change and replaced the ad filled launcher with mlauncher.
- Remap home button with Button Mapper
The results are silky smooth expience.
As for the hardware, the stands can be installed in 2 positions - one is closer to the edge and the other is closer to the center. The stands look tiny and extremely wide.

I'd go for the 75 " U7G or TCL R646 if you have the budget. Both have more advanced gaming features as well
I'm looking to mount a TV outside under a patio cover coming off the back of the house. Location is very well protected and we're in Southern California so temperatures/weather won't be too much of an issue. So a non-outdoor rated TV should be fine.
Would this be good a good set for that purpose? Don't want a really reflective screen because it will be outdoors and have a ton of light behind it.
We currently stream our TV/Movies with a Roku device on our main TV and no gaming.
I pulled the trigger. Seems like the best deal I have seen on a quality 75" since the 950ish TCL 635 pre-COVID.
