Bought this 11/10, Got a price adjustment. Thank you.

This TV is good for the price. If you're handy with android and tinkering, I would enable dev mode and debloat this thing.

Check out XDA or other resource for more

For mine, I did
- Disable animation speeds
- Debloat
- Change and replaced the ad filled launcher with mlauncher.
- Remap home button with Button Mapper

The results are silky smooth expience.

As for the hardware, the stands can be installed in 2 positions - one is closer to the edge and the other is closer to the center. The stands look tiny and extremely wide.

That's stupid. The top end TVs of those brands are great, but the ones this competes with in price and size are inferior to it in every way.

Does best buy charge credit card immediately, or after they ship the tv? I am in two minds, so thinking to buy it now, and schedule for late december, and then keep on looking for a better tv deal. Can I cancel it prior to shipping, in that case, without the credit card being charged?

If you want to keep up with the Joneses then you have to buy a Sony, even if it's worse quality.. more points if it's curved.

Plenty of deals on here for Sony but they all get smoked by Hisense specs

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but when I order something for store pickup even if the pickup date is 2 weeks away they still charged me right away. Hopefully someone else has more precise info for ya though.

BB charges immediately. I pre ordered a 65u8g back in June or July and it took me 2 months to get it, but they held onto my money.

Do you recommend buying the extended warranty? Amazon makes it a 4 yr warranty for another 100 bucks. But otherwise my CC (sapphire) supposedly should cover a 2nd year. ( i never had to use CC warranty ever, so not sure if it is convenient or not)
